Returns & Exchange

Every saree undergoes a meticulous quality check before being shipped. However, if you receive a damaged product, you must inform our customer care team within 24 hours of delivery to initiate a return request. The final decision regarding returns rests solely with our team.

Once an order has been dispatched, returns will not be accepted unless the issue meets the specified conditions.
Returns or cancellations will not be entertained if the customer changes their mind or dislikes the saree after purchase.

All sarees are photographed under neutral lighting conditions to ensure the closest representation of the actual color. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings and display differences. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for minor color deviations.

If a return request is approved, the saree must be sent back in its original condition and packaging. This policy is non-negotiable.

To request a return, an unedited opening video of the package is mandatory. The video must clearly show the package being opened from the start, without any cuts or pauses. Claims without an unedited video will not be considered.

Once the return is approved, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days and credited to the original payment method.

An exchange will be allowed only once per order. Multiple exchange requests for the same purchase will not be entertained.

Handloom Variations That Are Not Considered Defects

Handwoven Kanjivaram sarees have unique characteristics that reflect their artisanal craftsmanship. The following are not considered defects but natural elements of the weaving process:

Knots or bumps in the threads – These occur when broken threads are manually rejoined during weaving.

Slight irregularities where the border meets the body – The handcrafted nature of the saree may lead to minor variations in weaving.

Slubs (tiny thread clusters) – These are natural formations that sometimes appear as small raised knots in the weave.

Small gaps in the saree body or motifs – Minute thread gaps in the fabric, motifs, or pallu are normal in handloom weaving.

Slight misalignment in motifs – Patterns may not be perfectly symmetrical, adding to the uniqueness of each saree.

Dye overlap in the pallu – In some cases, dyed threads may slightly blend with zari threads, creating a faint color transition. This is part of the weaving process, not a flaw.

Color variations due to thread blending – The final shade of a saree depends on the warp and weft colors. When woven together, they may appear slightly different from their individual shades, which can also cause a variation in how the color looks in photographs.

If you have any concerns regarding the saree’s color, you can request a video preview or schedule a live video consultation before purchasing.

What Qualifies as a Defect?

A saree will be considered defective only if:

  • There is a tear where silk threads are missing for more than 20mm.
  • The length of the saree is incorrect and does not match the listed specifications.
  • A blouse piece is missing, if it was mentioned as included in the product description.

To maintain the highest quality standards, every saree undergoes a rigorous inspection before shipping.
